Job summary

Shield AI in the United Kingdom is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to provide technical expertise during the implementation and ongoing use of Shield AI enterprise software products. This role requires close collaboration with customers to tailor solutions and ensure successful product integration for AI and autonomy development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
4+ years of industry experience in software engineering.
Strong proficiency in modern C++.
Intermediate proficiency in Python.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Become an expert user of the Hivemind Enterprise SDK.
Develop AI applications for unmanned platforms across air/sea/land/space.
Deploy Hivemind infrastructure at customer sites.
Provide technical training to customers.
Assist customers in integrating Hivemind with their vehicles.
Troubleshoot software and API integrations.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to address feedback.
Travel to customer sites as required (30% travel).
