Job summary

i3 is seeking a Data Science & AI Delivery Lead to join a major international organisation investing in Data, AI and advanced analytics. This senior, hands-on role combines AI/ML engineering with delivery leadership; you will act as deputy to the Head of Data Science & AI Delivery, guiding AI initiatives from concept to scalable production deployments.

You will stay close to the tech, reviewing designs, establishing engineering standards, and contributing hands-on when needed, including

Qualifications

• Experience delivering AI/ML solutions into production.
• Strong knowledge of data science libraries and frameworks.
• Ability to mentor and lead data scientists and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day AI delivery workstreams and unblock teams.
• Deputise for Head of Data Science & AI Delivery across projects.
• Lead AI solution architecture and design reviews.
• Maintain engineering standards and reuse patterns for AI delivery.
• Remain hands-on with Python during critical delivery phases.
• Review code and outputs to ensure quality.
• Design and deliver Generative AI and LLM solutions (RAG, prompts, vector search).
• Establish MLOps practices including versioning, testing, deployment, monitoring.
