Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an AI and Data Technical Architect to lead hands-on design of enterprise data and AI architectures centered on D360 and the Agentforce platform. You will guide customer Chief Data Officers and Enterprise Architects, working with Account Executives to ensure scalable, secure solutions that integrate D360 into complex ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience designing and delivering data, analytics, and AI architectures in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of external agent ecosystems and interoperability.
• Experience in prompt engineering, agent lifecycle management, and hands-on prototype development.
• Experience with machine learning concepts (predictive and generative AI) and ability to communicate value.
• Deep expertise in cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift) and data ingestion (batch, streaming, CDC).
• Proficiency in programming (JavaScript, Python, SQL, R) and data tools like pandas/Jupyter.
• Excellent presentation skills; ability to explain complex ideas to stakeholders.
• Curiosity and willingness to explore new AI frameworks and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales design by analyzing customer needs and mapping to Agentforce capabilities and external frameworks.
• Shape best practices around generative AI, agent interoperability, prompt engineering, Data Cloud, and cross-platform integrations.
• Collaborate with AEs and SEs to build hands-on prototypes and demos using Agentforce and integrated external agents.
• Develop thought leadership content—demo templates, whitepapers, enablement sessions—focused on agent lifecycle and integration strategy.
• Act as a central technical resource, documenting best practices and empowering specialist teams.
• If curious about AI and Data, educate others while crafting solutions that deliver real business impact.
• Map and integrate external agents from hyperscalers into Agentforce through open standards; enable interoperability.
• Configure chat and background agents with Agentforce Studio and Builder; integrate with external channels.
• Lead prompt design, testing, monitoring, and lifecycle strategy for agents.
• Build quick prototypes and demos; lead pre-sales workshops for customers and internal teams.
• Advise on Data Cloud (D360), CRM, MuleSoft APIs integration ensuring cohesive architectures.
• Support early adoption engagements post-sale by tuning agents and guiding customers.
• Oversee data modeling, identity resolution, real-time vs batch patterns, and data graph design within D360.
• Create and manage accessible technical documentation and FAQs to empower teams.
