Job summary

Salesforce in London seeks a Principal AI Architect (or AI and Data Technical Architect) to lead enterprise AI architecture efforts across D360 and Agentforce, guiding Chief Data Officers and Enterprise Architects through complex integrations with hyperscalers and data governance.

You will design, validate and operationalize scalable data and AI solutions, collaborate with Account Executives, build hands-on demos and prototypes, and set marshalling standards for prompt engineering,

Qualifications

7+ years in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or advisory.
Experience delivering AI/data architectures in enterprise settings.
Hands-on with frontier LLMs and AI tools (OpenAI, Claude, etc.).
Experience with agent interoperability and open standards.

Responsibilities

Lead pre-sales technical design by analyzing customer needs and proposing solutions.
Shape best practices around generative AI, agent interoperability, prompt engineering, and data platforms.
Develop hands-on prototypes and demos with Agentforce and external integrations.
Create technical enablement content and act as a central knowledge resource.
Oversee architecture decisions for D360, data models, and real-time vs batch patterns.
