Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Principal AI Data Architect to define the enterprise data architecture for trusted, scalable AI products. You will connect diverse data sources to AI agents and ensure data is clean and ready for advanced analytics.

You will partner with product managers, AI engineers, and security teams to enforce governance, security, and compliance, while leading architectural reviews and cross-domain collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or Information Systems or related field.
• 10+ years of experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, ML Ops or similar role with enterprise data systems.
• Experience leading complex technical decisions and influencing senior stakeholders with data governance, security, privacy, quality, lineage, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Enable AI and GenAI use cases with usable data for LLM/ML apps.
• Establish data trust, security, and responsible-AI controls including RBAC/ABAC and auditability.
• Drive technology decisions by evaluating cloud data services, AI platforms, and vendors; lead build-versus-buy assessments.
