Job summary

Baltic Apprenticeships is seeking a Senior AI Coach to guide learners in IT, Tech and Digital apprenticeships. You will coach, mentor, and run workshops to maximise learner potential and ensure successful outcomes.

You’ll work from our head office in Darlington with hybrid options after probation, manage a substantial caseload, and contribute to quality and compliance across programmes.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification (PGCE, PCET, AET) or sector experience.
• Proven experience delivering AI, BI, or Digital Transformation programmes.
• Strong written and spoken communication; able to give feedback.
• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Flexible, resilient, and logical in problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of up to 56 learners delivering coaching across apprenticeships.
• Lead workshops, microteaches and training sessions for skills, knowledge and behaviour.
• Ensure programme quality, compliance and documentation at all times.
• Mentor learners to achieve milestones and assist with end point assessments.
• Attend standardisation meetings and manage off-the-job hours effectively.

The Role

As a Senior AI Coach, you’ll use your industry knowledge and understanding of apprenticeship programmes to guide learners personally and professionally. You will motivate and influence your caseload of apprentices, helping them achieve their full potential through workshops, training, and one-to-one support.

Key Responsibilities & Role Expectations

• Manage a caseload of up to 56 learners, delivering comprehensive coaching across apprenticeships
• Lead workshops, microteaches, and training sessions for skills, knowledge, and behaviour development
• Ensure programme quality, compliance, and accurate documentation at all times
• Mentor learners to achieve milestones on time and support their end point assessments
• Attend standardisation meetings, share learner progress, and manage off-the-job hours effectively
• Maintain and update occupational knowledge; drive the growth of apprenticeship provision

Essential Skills & Experience

• Teaching qualification (PGCE, PCET, AET) or experience in digital/apprenticeship sector
• Proven experience delivering AI, Business Analysis, or Digital Transformation programmes
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; able to build rapport and provide constructive feedback
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Flexible, resilient, and logical in problem-solving
• Confident using IT systems and databases

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Degree or apprenticeship qualified in IT, Business, Data Science, or related discipline
• Knowledge of AI, Business Analysis, Digital Transformation, and apprenticeship standards
• Certifications: Change Management, Power Platform, or AI qualifications
• Experience with modern cloud platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake), coding, or digital transformation tools
• Understanding of compliance, ESG, or technical frameworks is a plus
