Job summary

Chainguard is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, AI CICD, to secure the software supply chain and build production-ready AI integration tooling. You will own features end-to-end, collaborate with Product and front-end teams, and influence architectural decisions.

We value initiative, strong English communication, and a proactive approach to solving ambiguous problems while delivering iterative improvements on a remote-first team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development.
• Expertise with containers, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• Experience building and securing CI/CD systems.
• Proficiency with Go or willingness to ramp quickly.
• Experience with AI tooling for complex problems.
• Strong English communication; autonomous and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end from design to rollout in partnership with Product and Experience teams.
• Navigate ambiguous problems and define clear paths forward.
• Contribute to a product-driven roadmap with deadlines and iterative shipping.
• Extend Chainguard's AI foundation into customer-facing experiences.
• Provide architectural input and collaborate through design decisions.
