Job summary
Pax8 is seeking a Senior Automation and AI Engineer to elevate automation and AI maturity across the UK and Europe. You’ll lead hands-on delivery while shaping architecture, assurance and mentoring within the Rapid Innovation Team.

- Hands-on production technology experience in automation and AI.
- Ability to lead technical ownership beyond individual tasks.
- Experience designing secure, scalable automation and AI solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and build automation and AI solutions for real business needs.
- Establish patterns, architecture principles and quality standards.
- Create automated cybersecurity and feasibility checks replacing manual reviews.
- Review AI solutions before production and provide practical guidance.
- Build monitoring to show health, quality and security over time.
- Mentor colleagues while remaining hands-on delivering solutions.
