Job summary

Profitero+ is seeking a Senior AI Agent Engineer to architect and deliver AI-powered products and workflows. You will design, implement and deploy LLM-based systems and agentic apps, collaborating with product, design and engineering to turn requirements into scalable solutions.

You will lead production deployments, optimize performance and costs, and mentor junior engineers while staying current with the latest AI research and frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering/AI or related field.
• 3+ years of software development with emphasis on AI/ML.
• Proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries.
• Experience with LLMs (Claude, GPT-4, Gemini).
• Experience building agentic applications/workflows.
• Familiarity with AI orchestration tools (LangChain/LangGraph/Crew AI/Haystack).
• Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, semantic search.
• Experience with MCP Servers and RESTful APIs.
• Strong Git, testing and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy LLM-based systems and agentic workflows.
• Operate and iterate AI systems in production; optimize performance and cost.
• Build RAG systems using embeddings, vector databases and semantic search.
• Develop robust Python code for agentic applications and integrations.
• Implement testing, monitoring and safety for agentic systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to translate needs into solutions.
• Stay current with AI research and MCP Protocol developments.
• Contribute to architecture and technical roadmap of AI initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge within the team.
