Job summary

CGI in Leeds is hiring a Senior Project Manager/Senior Delivery Manager to own complex technology-enabled projects, leading teams to deliver on time and within budget. You will shape delivery excellence, manage risks, and influence client relationships in a hybrid Leeds-based role with occasional travel in Yorkshire.

You will drive end-to-end delivery, ensure governance, and apply Agile/hybrid methods to achieve outcomes while enabling continuous improvement across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience owning and delivering software projects with full lifecycle and financial accountability.
• Experience in Agile and/or hybrid delivery environments.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead & deliver end-to-end project outcomes across the full lifecycle.
• Own & control project scope, budget, forecasting, and financial performance (up to £2m TCV).
• Plan & estimate to develop robust delivery plans.
• Drive sprint planning, iteration cadence, and dependency management.
• Mitigate risks and manage issues proactively.
• Engage clients through governance and change control.
