Job summary

Intellias in London is recruiting an engineering role focused on building agentic AI systems to reason over research content, transcripts, filings, and news. You will create ingestion and evaluation pipelines with strong data quality controls and provenance, enabling safe, scalable AI for investment professionals.

You will drive production Python tooling, CI/CD practices, and observable pipelines in a regulated financial environment, shaping how trusted AI data foundations are built from scratch.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building production agentic and LLM systems.
• Hands-on experience engineering document ingestion and extraction pipelines.
• Experience building evaluation and guardrail infrastructure for AI systems.
• Strong production Python engineering—services and pipelines that run unattended, with testing, CI and code standards.
• Able to shape problems with business stakeholders and explain results to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build agentic workflows that reason over research reports, transcripts, filings and news, showing PMs what was found and confidence levels.
• Engineer automated quality checks on unstructured source content before ingestion.
• Build vendor delivery validation and fix extraction where needed.
• Develop evaluation harnesses, benchmarks and guardrails for groundedness, accuracy, relevance, and provenance.
• Ship monitoring dashboards to surface data quality, confidence, and coverage gaps.
