Job summary

LexisNexis Intellectual Property Solutions in Farringdon, London, is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to help design and deliver AI capabilities for IP analytics products. You will work across the full development lifecycle on agentic AI systems and scalable, production-grade services.

The role requires strong Python experience, cloud infrastructure (AWS) and IaC (Terraform), and familiarity with AI/ML libraries.

Qualifications

• Experience with modern Python codebases.
• Experience with AWS or comparable cloud platform with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and delivery processes.
• Experience with generative AI and agentic AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies for customer-facing features.
• Design and build agentic AI systems and AI-powered product capabilities.
• Develop reusable frameworks for evaluating AI quality, safety and performance.
• Write and review detailed technical specifications for moderately complex components.
• Mentor junior developers in best practices and participate in Scrum ceremonies.
