Job summary

Valcon A/S in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Specialist/Principal Agentic AI Engineer to design, build and deploy intelligent AI agents, copilots and agentic solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes. This hands-on role focuses on production-ready agentic solutions using Microsoft AI technologies, Databricks AI capabilities and modern software engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing AI agents and agentic applications.
• Strong skills in orchestration patterns and integration with enterprise systems.
• Hands-on development of AI-powered solutions using modern frameworks.
• Experience in Agile environments and lifecycle practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy AI agents and copilots delivering measurable business value.
• Build solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry and Databricks Mosaic AI.
• Develop agent workflows, memory and reasoning capabilities.
• Integrate agents with APIs, enterprise systems and data sources.
• Collaborate on solution design and technical decision making with architects.
• Ensure security, scalability and maintainability of solutions.
• Create reusable components, frameworks and accelerators for the team.
• Participate in testing, optimisation and continuous improvement.
