Omega Resource Group are recruiting a Senior Product Development Engineer for a permanent role in Tewkesbury. You will lead technical development from concept through flight qualification for high-performance aerospace components.

The role requires translating customer requirements into robust solutions, coordinating activities across engineering teams, and mentoring developing engineers. Candidates should have a mechanical or aerospace engineering degree and a track record in verification,

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Mechanical, Aerospace or related Engineering discipline.
• Significant experience developing complex engineered products.
• Able to lead technical activities across product development lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of verification, validation and qualification testing.
• Experience with hydraulic or electrohydraulic systems (Desirable).
• Experience using Siemens NX or similar CAD software.
• Experience using analysis tools such as Mathcad, CFD, and FEA.
• Understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop products from concept through flight qualification.
• Translate customer requirements into robust engineering solutions.
• Support design and development of high-performance aerospace components.
• Coordinate technical activities and engineering deliverables.
• Lead technical investigations and problem-solving activities.
• Coordinate development and qualification testing.
• Work with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver success.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developing engineers.
