Job summary

Moog UK in Tewkesbury, UK, is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer to lead the development of flight‑critical aerospace products across the full lifecycle. You’ll own technical deliverables, translate customer requirements into robust engineering solutions, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality and test teams onsite.

You will mentor engineers, drive qualification activities, and contribute to multiple programmes for military and commercial aircraft worldwide.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems or related Engineering discipline.
• 8+ years of experience developing complex engineered products in aerospace or highly regulated industries.
• Experience leading technical activities through a structured product development lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of verification, validation and qualification testing.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into practical engineering solutions.
• Excellent technical communication and stakeholder management.
• Proven problem-solving and investigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Owning the technical development of aerospace products from early concept through flight qualification.
• Translating customer requirements into robust engineering solutions and coordinating customer facing activities.
• Supporting the design and development of high-performance electrohydraulic aerospace components.
• Coordinating technical activities and engineering deliverables to support successful product development.
• Leading technical investigations and problem-solving activities to resolve complex engineering challenges.
• Coordinating development and qualification testing.
• Collaborating with manufacturing, quality, test, programme management and supply chain teams to ensure successful product delivery.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to developing engineers.
