Job summary

Moog UK in Tewkesbury is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer to lead the technical development of aerospace products from concept through flight qualification. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and translate customer requirements into robust engineering solutions for both military and commercial programmes.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems or a related Engineering discipline.
• Significant experience (typically 8+ years) developing complex engineered products within aerospace or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience leading technical activities throughout a structured product development lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of verification, validation and qualification testing.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into practical engineering solutions.
• Excellent technical communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven problem-solving and investigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Owning the technical development of aerospace products from early concept through to flight qualification.
• Translating customer requirements into robust engineering solutions, along with customer facing activities.
• Supporting the design and development of high-performance electrohydraulic aerospace components.
• Coordinating technical activities and engineering deliverables to support successful product development.
• Leading technical investigations and problem-solving activities to resolve complex engineering challenges.
• Coordinating development and qualification testing.
• Working closely with manufacturing, quality, test, programme management and supply chain teams to ensure successful product delivery.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to developing engineers.
