Job summary

Morson Edge seeks a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of electrical systems for aerospace projects. Based at Samlesbury, you will apply advanced engineering principles to produce detailed designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions, manage design reviews, and drive reliability, maintainability and certification readiness in a contract environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Five+ years of experience in aerospace electrical design.
• Professional registration desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce detailed electrical design documentation, including schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Lead design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and design teams.
• Ensure all electrical designs comply with aerospace standards, safety regulations and QA protocols.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments and failure mode analyses for electrical systems.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical engineers and project managers to integrate designs in projects.
