Job summary

NHS Forth Valley in Larbert is expanding its Emergency Department team and seeks a highly experienced Practitioner to progress to Senior Advanced Practitioner (Band 8A). You will handle complex presentations, exercise autonomous decision making, and contribute to teaching and leadership within the ED.

The post includes a pathway from Band 7 to Band 8A with a focus on developing clinical leadership, education, and service development. Significant training and PVG clearance requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within ED.
• Advanced practice experience as an ANP/ACP or ENP.
• Completion of HEI accredited clinical courses.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex emergency presentations with autonomous assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
• Provide education and support to ED team members.
• Assess, diagnose and treat the majority of clinical presentations in the ED.
