Job summary

Gloucestershire County Council is seeking a Senior Administrator for its Fostering Service within Children’s Social Care. The role offers leadership of the Business Support function, oversight of seven Team Administrators, and accountability for data, performance and safeguarding compliant processes.

You will work in a flexible, agile environment, manage competing deadlines, support managers at service level meetings, and provide professional training to administrative staff.

• Experience leading administrative teams and delivering training.

Responsibilities

• Lead Business Support for Fostering Panel and Kinship Teams.
• Oversee and supervise seven Team Administrators.
• Monitor performance, attendance and workload; ensure deadlines.
• Utilise data to drive performance improvements.
• Support service management meetings and bespoke projects.
