Job summary

Suffolk County Council in Ipswich is seeking a Senior Administrator in Democratic Services to support councillors, officers and the public. You will be the first point of contact for the councillor service helpdesk, manage inboxes and process expense claims.

The role includes budget reporting using Oracle Fusion, maintaining governance pages and delivering high standards of customer service. The council promotes equality and flexible working options.

  • Salary: £28,598 per annum pro rata
  • Hours:22.2, three days per week (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday)
  • Contract: Permanent

Your role and responsibilities
  • Acting as the first point of contact for councillors, members of the public and staff through the councillor service helpdesk
  • Managing multiple inboxes covering a broad range of queries and issues
  • Running budget reports using Oracle Fusion and reconciling spend

The Democratic Services Team provides a range of administrational support services to Councillors, officers, and members of the public. We are a small, friendly and supportive team that comprises of range of roles all of which support the governance of the Council.
