Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration or equivalent.
• Post-registration specialist qualification relevant to acute care.
• Experience in an acute adult setting with leadership responsibilities.
• Management and teaching qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify, clinically risk-assess, and track patients along admission pathway.
• Escalate concerns per NEWS2 and trust policies; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support safe patient flow, reduce delays, and help meet national performance standards.
