Job summary

M&G plc is seeking a Manager/Expert in Model Validation to provide independent validation across capital, pricing and valuation models. You will interpret regulatory requirements, support the risk framework, and present findings to senior committees with clear recommendations.

You will collaborate with teams to strengthen controls, improve risk perspective, and help reduce operational risk while contributing to regulatory compliance and governance across the Life and Asset Management divisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in actuarial and statistical modelling.
• Experience in model risk and governance.
• Experience in providing constructive challenge and oversight of technical matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent validation of models used across M&G plc (e.g., capital, pricing, valuations).
• Summarise validation results and present actions to committees and senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with colleagues to expand coverage of model development risks and risk framework.
