Job summary

M&G plc is seeking an experienced professional to join the Risk and Compliance function in validating a range of models used across the group, including capital, pricing and valuations. You will summarise findings for senior committees and work with stakeholders to strengthen the control environment.

Essential experience includes actuarial and statistical modelling, model risk governance, and the ability to challenge technical matters.

Qualifications

• Experience in actuarial and statistical modelling.
• Experience in model risk and governance.
• Experience in providing constructive challenge and oversight of technical matters.
• Desirable experience in risk guidance and compliance environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent validation of models across the organisation (e.g., capital, pricing, valuations).
• Summarise validation results and present succinctly to committees and senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with colleagues to cover model development risks and support the risk framework.
• Support quarterly model change log reporting to the PRA and Solvency UK compliance exercises.
