Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Senior Activities Co-ordinator to create and manage a diverse activities programme across dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care homes. You will lead colleagues, promote resident independence and engage with the local community, families and staff to enrich lives.

You will be responsible for planning, organising and delivering activities, with a caring, kind approach and attention to safeguarding and paperwork.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable individuals.
• Ability to develop and lead activity programmes.
• Strong planning, organisational and IT skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Organise and create a varied activities programme for residents.
• Lead and motivate colleagues delivering activities in the home.
• Promote activities within the community and encourage family involvement.
• Maintain necessary paperwork and monitor budgets.
