Job summary

East West Connect Ltd is seeking an Active Fire Contract Manager to lead the delivery, servicing, maintenance and compliance of active fire protection systems across sites in the UK. You will manage operational performance, commercial management, and client relationships while developing the active fire team.

The role requires strong project management and health and safety focus, with responsibility for budgets, reporting and regulatory compliance across multiple live contracts.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in contract management within active fire or similar compliance environment.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Good knowledge of active fire systems and relevant standards and legislation.
• Understanding of Building Safety Act 2022 and related regulations.
• SMSTS and CDM Awareness training.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and lifecycle delivery of active fire contracts from tender to completion.
• Oversee servicing, maintenance, testing and remedial works per legislation and standards.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, project costs, and final accounts.
• Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers for efficient delivery.
• Maintain high health and safety standards including audits and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety legislation and accreditation requirements.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
• Support tendering, estimating and business development activities.
• Monitor training, competency and development within the team.
• Prepare and present operational, commercial and compliance reports.
