Job summary

East Cheshire NHS Trust invites applications for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Acute Medicine. The role is based at Macclesfield and carries NHS AfC Band 8a with a permanent contract and full-time hours (37.5 per week).

The successful candidate will manage an advanced clinical caseload, work across urgent care and medical specialties, and contribute to teaching, audits and service development. This role also requires commitment to safeguarding and a drive to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered health care professional with valid registration.
• RN/RGN or equivalent nursing designation.
• Master's degree: MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent.
• Evidence of continuing professional development is required.
• V300 Non-medical Prescribing qualification or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a clinical caseload to an advanced professional standard.
• Work within the four pillars of Advanced Practice with evidence portfolio.
• Support and teach residents and trainee ACPs.
• Participate in service development projects and audits.
