Job summary

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Crewe is recruiting two Respiratory Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACP) at Band 8a to join a 7-day respiratory service within acute and outpatient care.

You will work with the multidisciplinary team to perform autonomous assessments, develop care plans, and contribute to audits, teaching and service development. This permanent role offers a salary of £57,528 – £64,750 per year.

Qualifications

• MSC Advanced Practice and speciality competencies completed.
• Post-registration study in speciality or related field.
• Teaching qualification or module completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and management of respiratory patients.
• Timely review of admitted patients and adherence to evidence-based care.
• Develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans with MDT.
• Work autonomously within scope and escalate when needed.
• Contribute to 7-day respiratory service and collaboration with teams.
• Support development of the respiratory virtual ward and patient pathways.
• Engage in teaching, governance, audit and quality improvement.
