Job summary

AWD Online is seeking an Accounts Senior with practice experience to prepare financial statements and corporation tax computations. You will manage deadlines, support junior colleagues and work closely with clients, bookkeepers and internal specialists.

Key duties include client queries, tax planning opportunities, data integrity and mentoring. Hybrid/office-based options may apply depending on location.

Qualifications

• AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified; an accounts-related degree; or qualified by experience.
• Previous experience in accountancy practice in a relevant sector.
• Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete financial statements for a range of business enterprises.
• Compute corporation tax and manage deadlines.
• Plan and prioritise workload to meet targets and deadlines.
• Resolve client queries and maintain accurate records.
• Mentor junior colleagues and support departmental projects.
• Collaborate with tax, payroll, VAT and other specialists.
• Ensure data security and GDPR compliance in client work.
• Monitor billable targets and improve efficiency.
• Support year-end planning and tax opportunities for clients.
