Job summary

Ampa Group is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Administrator to support the Accounts Payable Team Leader in delivering a high‑performing AP function across supplier payments, expenses and financial controls. The role requires ownership of complex queries, analysis, and system improvement in a flexible, hybrid work model with UK hubs.

You will use advanced Excel, drive efficiencies in Procure‑to‑Pay, and support month‑end activities while guiding AP Administrators as needed.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a similar AP role within a law or professional services firm.
• Strong knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules and VAT regulations.
• Experience with Procure-to-Pay processes and best practices.
• Experience of working with Aderant and financial software is essential.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, expenses and payments accurately within service levels.
• Handle complex supplier accounts and escalated queries to resolution.
• Support month-end and year-end reporting and financial controls.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
