Job summary

MHA is seeking an Accounts Manager or Senior Manager to join our offices in the North West (Manchester, Liverpool, Preston or Lancaster). You will manage client portfolios, oversee teams and provide technical advice on financial reporting and auditing standards.

Qualifications

Fully qualified ACA/ACCA with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience in external accounts and general practice.
Up to date technical knowledge of auditing and financial reporting standards.
Experience working with OBMs and larger corporates across industries.
Competent user of MS Excel & Word; experience with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, CaseWare and tax software preferred.

Responsibilities

Portfolio Management, plan, control and review of client work to ensure that jobs are completed efficiently and effectively.
Team Management, day to day line management, allocation of work, identifying development needs and completing staff reviews and feedback.
Business Development, advisory and ad hoc work, identifying opportunities to offer additional services to clients, identifying new clients through networking and client referrals and coaching team members to do the same.
