MHA is seeking an Audit Assistant Manager in Preston to lead and deliver audit assignments for a diverse portfolio of clients. You will coordinate work, review accounts, and support partner and director reviews, ensuring high-quality financial reporting and adherence to standards.

This role emphasizes building client relationships, identifying risks, and delivering insights that add value. You’ll work with a driven team, contribute to planning and budgeting, and develop technical expertise

Qualifications

• Up to date auditing and financial reporting knowledge.
• Awareness of the firm’s services and product offering.
• Familiarity with ICAEW/ACCA framework is desirable.

Responsibilities

• To look after a range of clients, preparing assignments for partner/director review.
• To co-ordinate compliance service delivery to clients and ensure information is collected efficiently.
• To ensure that compliance deadlines are met and to liaise with tax staff for planning.
• To ensure that jobs are adequately resourced and staff continuity is considered.
• To identify opportunities for other relevant services and inform the partner/director.
