Senior Accounts Assistant

Location: Skegness

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

Benjamin Edwards are currently recruiting for a Senior Accounts Assistant for an established organisation in Skegness.

You will be joining a friendly and dedicated finance team supporting the Management Accountant and the wider finance team. The role is working for a large group business who are going through a period of growth.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accounts Assistant
  1. Assist with the monitoring of balance sheet postings to ensure accurate reconciliation of ledgers.
  2. Management of accounts and reconciliations.
  3. Assist with the fixed asset register and communicate with department heads to ensure accuracy across all sites.
  4. Full monthly audit trail review to ensure accuracy of entries and highlight any necessary prepayment/accrual adjustments.
  5. Complete monthly and annual prepayment/accrual adjustments.
  6. Overseeing the purchase ledger to ensure accurate postings and payments.
  7. Assist the Management Accountant and Finance Controller with financial analysis as required.
  8. Support with cash processing with daily revenue recognition and reconciliation.
  9. Complete monthly income reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
  10. Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation.
  11. Carry out any further ad hoc tasks as directed by the Company.
