Job Description

As a Senior Accounts Assistant, you will prepare year-end accounts, tax returns, and bookkeeping, along with other general practice services for a varied client base. There will be opportunities to get involved in cloud accounting advice and increase client exposure, working with managers and partners on planning and advisory projects. The role offers scope to develop your technical skills and advance your career within a growing firm, with excellent support to qualify through AAT/ACA/ACCA, ATT/CTA, and encouragement to pursue areas of technical interest.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have recent experience within the accountancy practice sector, working for a small, medium, or large independent firm. You should have experience in preparing year-end accounts, tax, bookkeeping, and providing other practice services to sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, either as an Accounts Assistant/Technician or Senior Accountant. Candidates may be pursuing or hold formal qualifications such as AAT or part ACCA, or have gained experience through their career. Study support is available for those pursuing further qualifications.
