Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced accountants and finance operations professionals to assist training AI models on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The role focuses on close reconciliations, audit support, and PBC documentation, with emphasis on accuracy and detail.

The position offers a fully remote setup with flexible 5–20 hours per week and an ASAP start. Compensation is competitive at $80/hour, designed for professionals who thrive in a high-standards environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in corporate accounting, financial operations, or audit support.
• Deep fluency in GAAP, PBC documentation standards, and spreadsheet-based control testing.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for core workflows.
• Support monthly close reconciliations and audit request schedules.
• Prepare PBC documentation and vendor/expense audit trails.
