Job summary

Xeinadin in Strood is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Business Services team. You will support Managers in delivering high-quality accounting and business support to a diverse client base, including sole traders, partnerships, and Ltd companies.

Expect ownership of assigned work, timely delivery, and development of junior staff. You will apply strong technical accounting knowledge, contribute to process improvements, and collaborate with the Tax team where appropriate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in accountancy practice or similar.
• Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and bookkeeping.
• Experience preparing and reviewing accounts for various entity types.
• Proficient with cloud accounting, especially Xero.
• Confident in communicating with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist Managers in delivering accounting and business services to client portfolios.
• Complete allocated client work accurately and meet deadlines.
• Prepare and review accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Maintain bookkeeping records using cloud accounting software such as Xero.
• Provide guidance on accounting processes and client inquiries.
