Qualifications

• 23 years experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role, ideally within a UK accountancy firm.
• Solid understanding of UK VAT rules and general compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines across multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of daily financial transactions.
• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns in line with HMRC's Making Tax Digital requirements.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts.
