Castle Employment is assisting an established accountancy practice in Hull to recruit a Senior Accountant. You will prepare and finalise year-end accounts for varied clients, manage accounts from TB to completion, and handle corporation tax computations with HMRC compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in preparing and finalising year-end accounts.
• Strong understanding of corporation tax and HMRC compliance.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience reviewing junior staff work.
• Experience liaising directly with clients.

Aufgaben

• Prepare, review and finalise year-end accounts for a varied portfolio of clients.
• Manage accounts preparation from trial balance through to completion.
• Prepare and review corporation tax computations in line with HMRC requirements.
• Handle client queries and provide accounting guidance.
• Take ownership of accounts production and meet deadlines.
• Review work completed by junior accountants and provide support.
• Liaise with clients and build long-term relationships.
• Collaborate with Partners and accounts team to manage workloads and deadlines.
