Castle Employment Group is recruiting a Senior Accountant for a fully remote position in the UK. The role focuses on managing year-end accounts for a varied client portfolio, with responsibilities including tax computations and client advisory support.

You will work autonomously, balance multiple deadlines and collaborate with Partners to maintain high client service standards. The role offers a bonus scheme and potential study support, with flexible working conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accountancy practice is essential.
• Strong ability to prepare and finalise year-end accounts for clients.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and proactive client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, reviewing and finalising year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
• Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations.
• Managing your own workload and ensuring accounts are completed within agreed deadlines.
• Acting as a point of contact for clients, handling queries and providing advice where required.
• Supporting and reviewing the work of more junior team members.
• Working closely with Partners and colleagues to ensure a high standard of client service.
