Qualifications

• Experience in an accountancy practice is essential.
• ACA/ACCA/AAT qualification (or part-qualified/experience-based).
• Strong accounts preparation and review experience.
• Tax knowledge would be advantageous.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Commercially minded with proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and build strong relationships.
• Review accounts preparation work for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor workloads, deadlines, and team capacity.
• Produce management reports and provide operational oversight.
• Support day-to-day management and efficiency of the practice.
• Act as a point of contact for client queries and advisory support.
• Attend client meetings and deliver high-quality service.
• Manage multiple priorities and ensure on-time delivery.
• Assist with tax-related work and advise on opportunities.
• Contribute to business growth and process improvements.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to support business objectives.
