The role involves preparing year-end accounts, tax returns, and management accounts using Xero and QuickBooks. Hybrid working and flexible hours are offered, with 25 days leave and a company pension.

The successful candidate will have proven practice experience, strong organisation, and excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience as an accounts semi-senior or senior accountant in practice.
• Audit experience desirable but not essential.
• Proficient with TaxCalc, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and staff.
• Proactive problem-solver with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders and limited companies.
• Prepare self-assessment and corporation tax returns.
• Prepare management accounts using Xero and QuickBooks.
