Wallingford-based accountancy practice seeks a part-time Practice Accountant (Tax & Accounts) to join the team. You will prepare statutory accounts and tax returns, supporting a portfolio of clients while ensuring deadlines and accuracy with the team. Hybrid working is welcome.

Candidates should have 2+ years in a UK accountancy practice, be comfortable with CT600, SA100 and VAT reviews, and be proficient in Xero or similar cloud software. AAT or ACCA/ATT qualifications are preferred.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Confident preparing statutory annual accounts for owner-managed businesses.
• Confident preparing Corporation Tax returns (CT600).
• Confident preparing Self Assessment tax returns (SA100).
• VAT return reviews experience.
• Proficient with Xero or similar cloud accounting software.
• AAT qualified or ATT/ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing statutory annual accounts for client portfolios.
• Preparing Corporation Tax returns (CT600).
• Preparing Self Assessment tax returns (SA100).
• Supporting VAT return reviews.
• Assisting clients with day-to-day tax and accounting queries.
