Job summary

bk plus in Helston is seeking a Senior/Semi Senior Accountant to join our team in a progressive role. You will prepare statutory year end accounts for various client structures, liaise with clients on accounts and tax returns, and review junior staff work to ensure accurate and timely delivery.

You will also work on management accounts, support self-assessment and partnership tax returns, and mentor junior staff to help grow their skills within a collaborative, friendly firm with strong

Qualifications

• Experience preparing statutory year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Liaising with clients regarding accounts, tax returns and other issues.
• Review of junior accounts staff work and completion for client.
• Experience with management accounts and monthly reporting.
• Handling self-assessment and partnership tax returns annually.
• Supporting and guiding junior staff to develop skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
