Job summary

Anaergia is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to own the monthly financial reporting cycle, support business decisions, and oversee core finance processes. This role spans management accounting, transactional finance, and operational support in a small/medium business environment.

The successful candidate will manage management accounts, journals, payroll, intercompany activities, cash flow, and group consolidation packs with autonomy and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years accounting experience, in similar role
• Strong month-end & financial reporting understanding
• Ability to engage with non-finance stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts
• Post and review journals (payroll, depreciation, intercompany, FX, accruals, prepayments, WIP)
• Provide variance analysis for monthly performance reviews
• Assist in monthly/quarterly reporting packs for Group consolidation
• Oversee purchase ledger processing
• Manage high-value sales ledger and revenue recognition controls
• Collate payroll data and liaise with outsourced payroll
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow
• Manage PO processes and approval workflows
• Contribute to process improvements in finance and wider business
