Job summary

EG Group is seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join the Country Finance Team and deliver monthly management accounts, close activities, and day-to-day financial operations. You will support the Financial Controller and Finance Manager, engage with senior stakeholders, and drive process improvements across departments.

The role requires a qualified accountant with strong business acumen, and offers cross-functional exposure within a global organisation, with hybrid working up to 2 days per

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with professional body (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and technical accounting skills.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders.
• Proactive with high productivity.

Responsibilities

• Cross-department collaboration, attending and speaking in meetings and knowledge sharing.
• Monthly / Quarterly / Annual reporting preparation and consolidation.
• Project work involving creating, leading or supporting projects.
• Performing management accounting duties with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
• Posting key journals entries.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Identify areas of improvement and implement robust processes.
• Support with financial internal & external auditors.
• Assist with year-end statutory accounts.
• Develop and maintain robust processes and controls in line with Group requirements.
• Ensure consistent documentation of tasks and activities according to internal policies.
