Job summary

Emergn is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. You will deliver consistent financial information and help maintain reliable records within a growing international environment.

You will support day-to-day bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, month-end close, and intercompany transactions while developing in a global company with strong Excel and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of financial & management accounting experience.
• Part-qualified or studying ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured, organised approach to work.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop within an international, multi-entity environment.
• Experience with intercompany transactions, VAT, or audit support would be an advantage.
• Experience working in a global company.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with resolving discrepancies.
• Support month-end close, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Assist with statutory accounts preparation under guidance of senior finance team members.
• Support intercompany transactions and reconciliation.
• Assist with VAT compliance and other routine finance activities.
• Provide support during internal and external audits.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support the wider Finance team with ad hoc tasks.
