Job summary

The Numbers Studio, based in Brighton, seeks a Senior Accountant/Finance Business Partner to provide trusted financial support for ambitious clients. You will advise, interpret numbers, and help owners make informed decisions, overseeing advisory work rather than routine bookkeeping.

You’ll work directly with business owners, translating financial data into practical guidance and driving quarterly and annual planning conversations with management accounts.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Experience in practice with client facing responsibility.
• Ability to build relationships with business owners.
• Explain financial information clearly and confidently.
• Organised and able to manage multiple clients.
• Experience reviewing management accounts.
• Confident using Xero or similar accounting platforms.

Are you an experienced accountant who enjoys working closely with clients At the Numbers Studio, we're looking for a Senior Accountant/Finance Business Partner to become the trusted financial support for a portfolio of ambitious businesses. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves building relationships, advising clients and helping businesses succeed, overseeing and supporting the work rather than being tied up in day-to-day bookkeeping and compliance.

You’ll work directly with business owners, helping them understand their numbers, make better decisions and grow with confidence. You’ll be their go-to when they want a clearer picture of what’s going on in their business financially.

While our internal delivery teams take care of the technical production, your role is to make sure clients receive the very best advice, support and communication.
