Page Personnel is supporting a leading chartered accounting firm in Truro to recruit a Qualified Senior Accountant. You will manage year end accounts, tax compliance, and broader practice work for sole traders, partnerships and SMEs, while building strong client relationships.

You will mentor junior staff, supervise delivery, and lead on advisory and planning work to add value for clients. AAT/ATT/ACA/ACCA qualifications are expected, with a clear progression path within the firm.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering year end accounts and tax work for small to medium sized entities.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver value-added advisory services.

Job Description

Joining this firm as a Qualified Senior Accountant you will bring your background as a year end accounts, tax and general accountancy practice career background to service sole traders, partnerships and limited company OMBs, SMEs with a hands-on approach, alongside managing the full delivery and building client relationships. Alongside being hands on with year end accounts and tax compliance and delivery on this side you will review, mentor and train junior staff moving into a more supervisory capacity and lead on delivering added value, advisory and planning work to clients. You will carve a career within this firm as key support to the firms partners carving an influential role and career within this leading firm, with career progression on offer.

The Successful Applicant

You will hold any of the AAT, ATT, ACA or ACCA qualifications with a career background developed in accountancy practice having developed your career to around the qualified senior accountant levels. You will have an all-around year end accounts, tax career background developed within any of a small, medium or larger independent/Top 50/Top Tier accountancy firm environment and you will be seeking a move with a career progression path on offer.

What's on Offer
