Job summary

SI Recruitment Limited is partnering with a Harrogate-based Chartered Accountants firm to appoint a Senior Accountant / Client Manager. You will manage a portfolio of clients, act as the first point of contact, and provide advisory support across a range of sectors.

In this client-facing role you will prepare statutory accounts, company and personal tax returns, and management accounts, while guiding junior staff. Competitive salary from £35,000 plus progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full or part qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Strong communication skills with client-facing experience.
• Solid knowledge of UK accounting and tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of clients across sectors.
• Acting as the first point of contact for clients.
• Building and maintaining client relationships.
• Attending and leading client meetings.
• Preparing statutory accounts and tax returns for limited companies.
• Preparing personal tax returns.
• Producing management accounts and forecasts.
• Reviewing work of junior team members and providing guidance.
