Job summary

Hawthorne-Finch Talent Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant / Client Manager in West Yorkshire. You will manage a varied client portfolio, delivering accounting and tax services to owner-managed businesses with direct client exposure and a clear path to management.

The role covers accounts preparation, tax returns, client relationship management, and mentoring junior staff, with access to ongoing professional development and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• :ACA or ACCA qualified (QBE considered).
• 3+ years' UK accountancy practice experience.
• Strong accounts preparation across multiple business types.
• Excellent knowledge of corporation tax, personal tax and VAT.
• Experience managing client relationships.
• Strong communication, organisational and time-management skills.
• Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Desirable: Portfolio, management accounts, knowledge of Xero/Sage, reviewing junior staff work.

Responsibilities

Our client, a well-established accountancy practice in West Yorkshire, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Client Manager to join their growing team. The Role

You will manage a varied portfolio of clients and provide high-quality accounting and tax services to owner-managed businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, LLPs and limited companies
• Prepare corporation tax and personal tax returns

• Review work completed by junior team members

About You

Essential Requirements
