Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with 3+ years PQE in a UK practice.
• Experience managing a mixed client portfolio (SMEs, limited companies, partnerships) and delivering statutory accounts, corporate tax, and advisory services.
• Experience mentoring staff, leading teams, allocating workloads, and reviewing draft files.
• Proficient with cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and accounts preparation systems (IRIS/MyWorkpapers).
• Proven client-facing skills with ability to drive firm growth and cross-referrals.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Qualifications & Experience: ACA or ACCA qualified with a minimum of 3+ years' post-qualification experience (PQE) within a UK accountancy practice environment.
• Portfolio & Advisory Management: Track record of managing a mixed client portfolio (SMEs, limited companies, and partnerships), delivering statutory accounts preparation, corporate tax compliance, and commercial advisory services.
• Team Leadership: Experience managing, mentoring, and co-leading accountancy staff, allocating workloads, and reviewing draft files.
• Technical & Software Systems: Proficient with cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and accounts preparation systems (IRIS and MyWorkpapers preferred).
• Business Development & Client Care: Proven client-facing skills with experience conducting prospect meetings, identifying cross-referral opportunities, and driving firm growth.
